Here’s some very positive news for motorcyclists regarding the record Stimulus Plan that President Obama is signing today. The AMA (American Motorcyclist Association) fought to have motorcycles included as "qualified vehicle" purchases under the stimulus plan. That means that anyone purchasing a new motorcycle this year will be able to deduct their sales and excise taxes on their 2009 tax return! This little part of the comprehensive stimulus bill is probably not going to get mentioned on the evening news. So please help spread the word about this new development to all the motorcyclists you know!
